MIKE KIJEWSKI // CEO

Mike is passionate about new advances in the intersection of internet technology and healthcare. Prior to starting MedCrypt, he was the founder of Gamma Basics, a radiation oncology focused software startup. Gamma Basics was acquired by Varian Medical Systems in 2013. Mike is a 2021 San Diego Business Journal Top 40 Under 40.

Mike holds an MBA from the Wharton School, and a Master of Medical Physics from the University of Pennsylvania.

ERIC PANCOAST // CTO

Eric was a co-founder of Gamma Basics, a radiation oncology focused software startup that was acquired by Varian Medical Systems in 2013. At Mimeya Technology, Eric served as the Lead Architect and Software Engineer building Cloud-based Big Data SaaS applications.

Eric holds a BS in Computer Science from Drexel University.

VIDYA MURTHY // COO

Vidya is a hands on leader who is passionate about her people and community. Prior to joining MedCrypt as COO, she worked for global medical device manufacturer Becton Dickinson.

Vidya holds an MBA from the Wharton School.

AXEL WIRTH // CSS

As Chief Security Strategist, Axel provides strategic vision and industry leadership to MedCrypt and its customers, helping guide the company in critical security strategy decisions and supporting the adoption of security technologies by the healthcare industry. As an advocate for compliance, privacy, and security - and ultimately patient safety - Axel draws from over 30 years of international experience in the industry.

He is an active participant in industry organizations, serves on boards and committees, and is a frequent speaker at conferences, forums, and webcasts on subjects such as healthcare cybersecurity and privacy, medical device security, regulatory compliance, and related topics.

CLAYTON MCNEIL // VP of ENGINEERING

Clayton has spent his career developing products in a wide range of fields including robotics, fiber optics, virtual reality and medical devices.

He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from West Chester University.

SETH CARMODY // VP OF REGULATORY STRATEGY

Prior to MedCrypt, Carmody worked as the cybersecurity program manager within the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH). Carmody brings more than eight years of experience in guiding medical device cybersecurity regulatory strategy.

SHANNON LANTZY // VP OF CONSULTING

As VP of Consulting, Shannon supports our clients in their cybersecurity program initiatives (e.g., strategy, organizational transformation, maturity assessments, regulatory efficiency, process optimization). Prior to MedCrypt, Shannon led the Regulatory Innovation team, focusing on engagements to help assess and innovate FDA’s device and drug centers’ benefit-risk decision making. She also co-founded Booz Allen’s Secure Connected Health practice.

Shannon holds a BS in Mathematics & Philosophy, Masters in Information Management, and Ph.D. in Business Information Systems from University of Maryland, College Park.

WILLIAM FENSTERMAKER // VP OF DEVOPS

William was a co-founder of Gamma Basics, a radiation oncology focused software startup that was acquired by Varian Medical Systems in 2013. At Mimeya Technology, William served as the Systems/Network Architect designing and running Cloud-based Big Data SaaS applications.

William holds a BS in Computer Science from The College of New Jersey.

JEFF POLIZZOTTO // SVP SALES

Jeff brings 20+ years of executive-level healthcare, technology and strategy experience at GE Healthcare, AMN Healthcare, GreatCall and Hewlett-Packard. He has built, scaled and led Connected Health, Business Development, Sales, and Strategic Partnership organizations and help lead the successful sale of GreatCall to private equity in 2017.

Jeff holds an MBA in Marketing & International Business from the Kelley Graduate School of Business at Indiana University and a BS in Finance from Indiana University.
